Hey Fellas!

*Sigh* bla bla bla, OK I don't update that often bla bla.
At the beginning of this month I had the golden oportunity and was fortunate enough to see Distant Worlds, music from Final fantasy. It was MAGICAL, pure awesomeness. It was so amazing, I cried a river as soon they played the first string of the harp for The prelude of Final fantasy. The concert was in London, I was there with my boyfriend for 3 days. I wish I could've stayed more time but, it was SO worth it. Next time I will surely go for the V.I.P tickets and personally thank Nobuo Uematsu in person for making such beautiful music! /teary eye

Drawing, drawings. Well, at least I could register a funny moment I had while I was in the U.K. waiting for the concert precisely... it's not much but meh....

I don't have anything agaisnt cosplayers. Really. But if you're thinking of making it, Goddamn make it right and perfect dammit! Really, personally, I wish I could cosplay myself. But I could have my butt frozen if I went as Fran from Final Fantasy XII, and my boyfriend would seriously have some trouble keeping away some pervs, *cof*. Anyway... Why some guys would cosplay poorly for this big event? I bet Nobuo and Sakaguchi rolled over on the floor when they saw them. I would feel ashamed of myself. Geez... Well that's what I think though. OH MY GOD SAKAGUCHI WAS THERE TOO!!!!!!

Back to the reality. I hated it when I came back. *sigh*

Hello

You know what? I give up. I really suck at updating this blog daily... Meh. I love rainy days, specially when Im at home, drinking tea. I hate being sick though. I hate injections. Meh.

I've installed CS6 here at home, since at work I work with the updated version of Photoshop also, and never been so enthusiastic about it.

I know I should, or supposed to draw something about Autumn, but I came up with this. My Sanji chilling out under the trees, and a failed attempt to draw feet. Yeah, I know the perspective is kinda (all) wrong, but the main purpose here is only to... draw.I really wanted to draw freely, nothing else, free of rules etc etc

And some features of CS6 ROCK man, the brush projection feature from CS6 changed my life.

Next month Im going to UK to see Final Fantasy Distant Worlds with my boyfriend. CAN'T WAAAAIT!!

It's no use... There's so many sketches to show now... blergh, I've made a selection, well, not all drawings are worth showing, really... but here goes:

Just some few sketches... and yup, i'm a big fan of Final Fantasy VIII. Bunch of life studies, state of mind, fanarts, project studies...a lil' bit of everything , blah

 

Here's some preview of what i'm working on. As I said on another entry, my colleagues at work started a challenge called "word of the day", one of them was "pin-up" and I liked my idea... Don't worry, once I organize all the drawings I'll upload them here... It's been 2 weeks, so lotsa drawings to show as always, but they're very promising ... I guess.

HEY!

Remember me? argh, ok... I'm hopeless... Geez... What year is this really? ok, I RRRREALLY have been busy lately... But it's good! I've been busy with my job which requires lots of deadlines to achieve etc etc and in the meanwhile I've been drawing a lot. Really I did. I didn't update in... uhm, a month maybe, and now I have loads of stuff to show... grr. So, lets see...

 yeeeaah... I'm trying to make speedpaintings once a day, and trying to keep the rhythm of it. So I've made this Speedy by listening to Delirium Cordia by Fantômas ( if you don't know Fantômas leave this blog immediately and NEVER COME BACK! hahahah... no, seriously, please do.) So this came out. Meh, didn't finish it, and I'm not looking foward to it. I know, it was supposed to look scarier than this because Delirium Cordia is all about that.

 

Some colour challenges speedies I've made, I was trying to use at least 3-a for colours, no lineart, just started with 2 colours and then playing around with the color picker. I'm trying to maintain 2 hours each speedy I make.

  unfinished stuff... maybe I'll finish this one...

  Aww... my favourite Speedpainting I did so far. He's Mike Patton from Faith No More. Don't get me started to talk about this... MAN. Oh well, I took this reference on his video, God Hates a Coward from his band Tomahawk. Great song. I painted it in about 2 hours or so, with the video on pause. Gotta love him that much. You care enough to see which frame was it? haha

And finally I got my hands on my drawings from Chill Out Art house, not all of them, because I did more nude drawings but it was only 10 minutes sketches, and I still didn't get those (I hope SOMEONE takes the hint..... )

I still have to update my sketchbook... I'm already half way. So much to scan.... grr. Oh and I have some new drawings to show. My buddies at work started a new challenge everyday after lunch to do a daily sketch. It is based on the word of the day. Each one of us gets to choose one word once a day, and draw about it. The results are pretty funny and amazing. Its so stimulating drawing with such talented people. You get to learn a lot.

Well, I hope I can get to scan my sketchbook in this week yet.

Pizza Pie

umm.. hi!

Sorry... been so busy lately... I've made tons of stuff and now... I feel the need to select it the (less boring) stuff here... I'm gonna load some stuff time to time and in the meanwhile I'm going to talk about random stuff about my life. My life would make an Indian movie (this pun is not mine by the way) ...or a mexican soap opera really.

I work on an animation studio, I paint the textures like clothing, characters' hair etc. I work 9 hours a day and I feel that with this kind of work, I have improved my painting skills. I really do. So bear with me. 

Some digital stuff, just to put something new. I will update tomorrow, when I get the chance to scan my sketchbook.

 Finally I can put this artwork, its a comission I've made ( I can't put the original due to copyright issues etc etc its just the work in progress as you can see it) got well paid on this one. The cat has got to eat ya know?

Some speed paintings I did... I'm trying to do at least 1 per day and trying diferent strokes. No lineart, just painting for color studies purposes. OH, and no references. Its the progress I've made so far with the life observation and the 69 seconds poses from posemaniacs.

Howdy!

You know what's really boring and annoying in this world? Posting a lot of stuff in a hot evening like today...

huh, yeah I have a valid explanation about these spots and the red ink here... I'm poor so I used to draw in the back too. And that taught me a valuable lesson: don't use copic markers on the back...ever. Oh and this hot chick again...sheesh, she can't get enough huh? aaaand from live observation.

Sketch dump, stuff from imagination, from live and photos ( actually from street ads ) the left one is a random  *perv* character concept.

It was this sketch's fault, although she could look innocent, she murdered someone AND the drawing on the back. Anyhoo, stuff from imagination. ( and yeah, I've been playing Mario Kart too ). And the girl on the magic carpet tells a little story of my life.

a-ha! and of course, BUS DRIVERS! my latest fetish... yup. The last one, was a Zombie bus driver. (a failed attempt to paint shadows on his baldy head ) In the middle was a mix between balpoint pen, darkness, bumpy roads and bad driving also.

I swear if I gather this kind of stuff that much, I'm going to show it to the bus company I use to travel and demand a 1 year free pass subscription.  

hum, yeah I've made a lots of nude drawings, I just registered this pose on my Sketchbook, I've left my drawings on the Chill out Art House... I will update as soon as I can ge my hands on my sketches.

 this is my workplace. I get 1 hour to lunch, and every 30 minutes left or so, I make some live studies a bit, just to keep practicing. Still in progress, duh!

I have some live enviromnent studies also, but I still didn't scan. It's A3 paper size and honestly it's too hot to carry that stuff. Really.

That's all Folks. Oh and I think I'm going to enter an extremely hard (like GODLIKE) international Contest with cool prizes, nothing much.

Hey kids! still alive? still following this blog? GOOD. I got some new fresh updates. Yeah I was supposed to update it sooner. Meh. Now I have lots of stuff to show...

from life observation (I reaally need to do lots of life studies like this)

My workplace is far away from my hometown so I have to catch the bus everyday. I usually take 45 minutes maybe, so I started to sit on front when I have the chance, and began to draw bus drivers. They don't have a clue I'm drawing them. Luckily, otherwise I wouldn't be here to update my blog hahha. ok moving on... ( My lines look messy obviously because of the bumpy roads, duh!)

I went to a chill out  Art house where they sometimes hire people to pose nude, it was fun... indeed.
